Made on-site at Studio 110 Projects in Sausalito CA as part of the post-studio Fall 2013 Residency Program. Invited for the month of September 2013, projects stem from explorations into the orderly and quaint appearance of Sausalito's main business district.
Awning
Inspired by the Main Street USA aesthetic of Sausalito's historic business district, the awning serves as a template for appropriate awning dimensions, per Sausalito bylaws. The awning is rigged and hoisted by a traditional theatrical backdrop rigging system involving pulleys and counterweights.
Jaywalkers9 sequences of various lengths of people jaywalking near the Bridgeway and Princess St intersection in Sausalito, CA. Traffic impediments were superimposed as ghost images over the settings.
